Encounter-Based Imaging Workflow (EBIW) is an IHE Radiology profile that describes how we can use the same types of radiology workflows and systems for enterprise imaging workflows, like Point-of-care Ultrasound (POCUS) and dermatology/wound photographs where we don’t necessarily have RIS-style orders or PACS-style storage.
